An ‘ideal’ location can be measured in a number of ways – location in relation to getting there, location in terms of its surrounds and location based on the local amenities. 

Getting to Tara Glen couldn’t be easier, It’s less than an hour’s drive from Dublin southbound, or 40 minutes from Wexford town northbound on the recently upgraded M11/N11. With each kilometre passing by, the bustle of city life and its woes and worries slip away. Hang a left as you reach Gorey and you are almost there. As you arrive at the gates of Tara Glen and are met by the scent of wild garlic, mixed with the salty sea breeze, with a hint of a barbeque in the air – you know you’re back in Heaven.

As for surrounds we won’t pretend to have the spectacular vista of the west coast, however when the sun is turned up in Ireland, Wexford turns golden first. Direct access to secluded beaches provides the perfect opportunity for sun, sea and sand castles, or invigorating walks along the beach and through the local countryside. Our fully licensed, modern Clubhouse overlooks vast stretches of beach and coastland north and south of Tara Glen. It also crowns the green undulating fairways of our very own golf course – our 19th hole!

Hardly more than a lazy arm stretch away is anything you might require. There is an extensive and convenient array of local amenities. Gorey, now bypassed by the M11, is the perfect place for supermarkets, shops and restaurants day or night, while Courtown will always have something happening to entertain the kids.
